Taylor Lautner Wins Settlement, Donates All to Children's Charity

The Twilight actor won a settlement with McMahon's RV recently after the company failed to give the actor a trailer for the set of his latest film. The RV company will pay Lautner $40,000, which the actor plans to donate to the The Lollipop Theater Network. The children's charity is one that Lautner has had a long- standing relationship with, says his lawyer. The non- profit organization brings... [More]

SEC Football in the Air

SEC Football in the Air

Tomorrow is the first football game of the year. I'm particularly excited about this because I was abroad last fall and haven't been to a Vanderbilt football game in two years. The beginning of football season also means the beginning of tailgating season. Which means three things: sundresses, stickers, and solo cups.

When I was looking at applying to colleges, one thing that made a big difference to me between Vanderbilt and others schools was our Division I Athletics program. It's Rocky Mountain Showdown Time!

It's Rocky Mountain Showdown Time!

It is a tradition that has stood the test of time since the invention of college football. Every school has one, and every student can identify with one. It is something that can influence the tamest student to scream, shout, and yell so loud to the point where your throat is hoarse and sore. It is something that I like to call a school's BIG football rivalry. It is that one school you just want... [More]

Shop Cheap, Get More

Shop Cheap, Get More

Today, I give you something that has become very valuable to me in these trying times: Bargain Shopping 101.

Yesterday, I ran circles through the Chicago loop area as well as Wicker Park for Part 1 of my shopping extravaganza. I ended the day by hauling my purchases home: two long-sleeved shirts, one long-sleeved wrap top, ballet flats, a blazer, Bed Head hair product, a silk scarf, and a pair of sunglasses...all for $111.76.
