OSCARS!!
Hello Greeks! I know that y'all have been chomping at the bit, wanting to know how I did on my Oscar Predictions. I know that is what y'all are thinking about, I really do, so here I am to say what I thought about my predictions...
Best Picture
I said that The Hurt Locker would win because of the critical praise surrounding it, and it did! 1-1
Best Actor
I said Jeff Bridges would win, and he definitely did, but that one was not a real contest. 2-2
Best Actress
I said that Sandra Bullock would win, mostly because of everyone's high praise for her performance, and that Meryl gets a lot of accolades already, and she snagged that trophy! And I must say, gave the best Oscar Acceptance Speech that I have ever heard. Humble, gracious, and simple. She is what women should aspire to be! 3-3
Best Supporting Actor

BEST ACTOR
Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart)*WINNER* (lots of websites have said that he will win; he apparently completely loses himself in the role)

The Marriage Ref has Potential
I am loving this new show " The Marriage Ref", that I am actually thinking of putting my parents on. That would be a hilarious episode. The premiere showed two couples quarreling about random things. One man wanted to keep his dead stuffed dog in the house on a shrine and another wanted to install a stripper pole in the house. The women in these cases won the fight, OF COURSE!!! The Marriage Ref... [More]

Beauty and the Beast Review
Everyone knows the academy award winning animated film Beauty and the Beast, and tonight I saw the play at the IU Auditorium. Disney's Beauty and the Beast is the beautiful love story of Belle and the prince, who is trapped in a beasts body until he is able to find love in his heart and be loved in return. I absolutely LOVED the show. The costumes and songs appeared just as they were performed... [More]
