If there's one thing I super hyper miss about high school, it's playing organized sports. There's nothing like team comraderie, a funny coach's one-liners, the heat of the moment in the middle of the court or the cheers you get when you score a winning point. In college, there's really nothing like that- assuming you are one of the majority who do not play sports on a college level.

Disappointment is in The Air, Everywhere I Look Around
Aargh!! That is pretty much the only sentiment I can use right now to sum up my emotions at this point! SEC Football in the Air
Tomorrow is the first football game of the year. I'm particularly excited about this because I was abroad last fall and haven't been to a Vanderbilt football game in two years. The beginning of football season also means the beginning of tailgating season. Which means three things: sundresses, stickers, and solo cups.
When I was looking at applying to colleges, one thing that made a big difference to me between Vanderbilt and others schools was our Division I Athletics program. While we may not be the fiercest competitor in SEC football, I've come to love cheering on the ‘Dores against the best college teams in the country.
One of my favorite days of college so far was the football game against Auburn during my sophomore year. I woke up insanely early to go to ESPN College Gameday and then watched Vanderbilt beat Auburn and improve to 5-0 on the season. I've never had so much school spirit before.
