The Blind Side - A Masterful Performance

Sandra Bullock's performance in "The Blind Side" is truly noteworthy. After years of romantic comedies like "Ms. Congeniality," "Two Weeks Notice," and her most recent "The Proposal," she shares a more heartfelt, realistic, dramatic role that is sure to bring tears.

From the clumsy, nerdy, energetic side seen in most of her films, Bullock shows us a maternal side with southern charm and sass that we have not met before.

Not only is her acting stellar in this film, but the movie itself is brilliant. Based on a true story, we're shown the helpless situation of an innocent boy caught in unfortunate circumstances, the struggles of a mother who wants to do what's right and the support of a husband who's a bystander in it all.

If you love either football, wonderful acting or moving/emotional films, you must see this one. (Just make sure to bring tissues.)
