Octomom Isn't Calling it Quits Yet!
Today, Nadya Suleman, widely known as “Octomom” appeared on ‘The View’ with no objection to adding to the family. Suleman currently has a total of fourteen children and is a single mother. All of her children were conceived through in vitro fertilization. She claims that her next child will be when/if she gets married in the “far” future. Parents in general are extremely busy with their kids, for a single mom it is even worse; how likely does she think it is someone would like to take on fourteen children as extra baggage?
I am sure you have seen Suleman criticized in the media constantly for her lifestyle, I just do not see how she can believe it is normal. I think if she had adopted fourteen children, society would view her as a hero, but bringing fourteen more children into the world under one roof appears to most as chaos. After already having six children, she went back for more in vitro fertilization which resulted in eight more children. Her situation seems to lack logic. There are plenty of children already looking for homes; what made her decide to give birth to so many on her own?
I wish I could interview her personally, I would have plenty of questions to ask. I wonder how her family feels about her lifestyle, or how soon she plans on looking for her future husband? On top of all of the pandemonium in the house, these children lack a male role model in their lives. Is it really fair to intentionally bring children into a life guaranteed to be mayhem as well as one income for so many mouths? I am interested to see whether Suleman finds love, and I wish her the best of luck, for not only herself, but for all of the children as well. I truly hope that the children can grow up healthy with successful lives provided with plenty of opportunities.
