Canada Beats Out USA: Miracle Upset

In one of the most thrilling Olympics we've had yet, what a way to wrap up the two-week period. USA Hockey was going strong the entire time beating Canada in one of the preliminary rounds. Both teams played amazingly, and were eventually matched up to play for the gold. In one of the most heated exams, said to have rivaled the "Miracle" 1980 USA Hockey Team, USA was able to tie the game with 26 seconds left in the third period. As the result of a shootout, Canada scored

the winning goal, beating out USA 3-2. I'm not usually an avid hockey player, but this was one thing that everyone seemed to talk about for the whole span of the two weeks. Who would win? Canada or USA? In what resulted in a great game, I think the Canadian team did an amazing job throughout, and deserved to win for their homeland. I guess it's okay that we lost, since USA still received more medals than any other country by a long shot. Go USA!!
