Spring Break Necessities

For us here at Indiana University, spring break is this upcoming week! Spring break is definitely in the air. Everyone seems more upbeat, classes seem to have been put on the backburner due to excitement, and everyone is talking about their plans. With it coming upon us so quickly, there’s just a few necessities that are vital to the spring break trip to Florida, Mexico, or whatever warm destination you may be headed to. Sunglasses are a must. Croakies for your sunglasses seem to be a popular trend as well. Not only is it a “fratty” option, but also it will prevent you from losing your sunglasses in that beautiful, warm ocean. I also feel as if a hat on the beach is a popular must-do as well. My friend has already announced that the second we leave for Ft. Lauderdale, she is putting on her Captain hat and it is not coming off her head till the day we leave to come back to Bloomington. As for myself, I have a neon pink hat ready for the beach. With St. Patrick’s Day landing right in the middle of spring break, green gear is a must. Green t-shirts, bathing suits, shorts, whatever it is you may have that is green. A trip to the dollar store to get a green necklace or hat seems to be in order for my friends and I. Whatever you’re final packing options may be, we will all be hitting the road in just a couple days to our place of choice to spend our wonderful week off. SPRING BREAK!
