T-News: success in today's society

If I were a teacher grading the Tuscaloosa News' online website, I would give it an A+! It is incredibly difficult to adapt to technology and completely do a 180. So much content needs to be online these days, and in a hurry. I think that the T-news does a great job of keeping up with that. They are a local paper that people rely on, both in print and on the web.

T-News: following the times

So basically, if your publication does not keep up with technology, you're doomed.

Readers want immediacy, something they can easily skim over and something they can interact with. What better place to get all of that than an online newspaper site? TA-DA! I'm a genius! (Along with the other journalists who thought of this first...years ago).

Spring Break 2010!

Spring Break 2010!

Spring break is only 2 weeks away! That means we are one step closer to summer, beaches, sun tans and no school!!

It is always interesting to hear everyone's exotic plans for Spring Break. This year, I am following the trend by going to the beach. One house and 16 of my closest friends is the recipe for a great week!

Many people go to the beach, but others go on mission trips, cruises, and even skiing? What? Yes, skiing. This is new information to me. Why would you want to go where it is cold? I'm just trying to get away from it all!

So what are everyone's creative plans for spring break? I would love to hear feedback from everyone about what is going on!
