Frat Lap Fever

As the weather warms up here at the Indiana University campus you will see a great deal of students walking the ever-so-famous “frat lap”. A “frat lap” is when students run or walk the streets in which the sororities and fraternities are located on. A frat lap is a total of 4 miles from start to finish and makes up the perimeter of the IU campus.

Frat laps are not only a great way to get exercise but they are also an excellent way for students to take a break from all the long hours of studying. While on frat laps many students stop at other Greek houses to catch up and visit with their friends. As a result, at times frat laps can take up to two hours.
